Now everyone has the opportunity to compete on Finals Day!
This year, we are expanding the Little World Championship (Lilla VM) on Saturday by introducing a group stage that will be played in parallel with the Big World Championship (Stora VM) group stage on Finals Day.
This means that even if your team does not qualify for Saturday’s group stage in the Big World Championship, you can still register for the Little World Championship group stage on Saturday.
Registration must be made at the tournament secretariat no later than Friday, July 31 at 18:00, after your team has finished playing for the day.
The Little World Championship group stage begins at 08:00 on Saturday and is followed by a playoff round. All teams advance from the group stage, and their placement in the group determines their position in the Little World Championship playoff bracket.

Friday’s Little World Championship changes its name to “Second Chance”
Second Chance (formerly Friday’s Little World Championship) will continue to be played as a separate playoff competition for teams that have not qualified for the Big World Championship on Saturday.
In Second Chance, teams compete not only to maximize the number of matches played, but also for the opportunity to earn a place in Saturday’s Big World Championship.

Teams eliminated in the Round of 32 of the Big World Championship continue in the Little World Championship playoffs!
This year, we are also introducing a new opportunity for teams that are eliminated in the Round of 32 of the Big World Championship. These teams will now be able to continue competing in the Little World Championship playoffs.

Why are we making these changes?
We want every team, regardless of skill level, to have the opportunity to play as many matches as possible.
That is why teams now have the opportunity to compete in the Little World Championship on Saturday even if they do not advance through Friday’s group stage or through the Second Chance tournament.
